About Us
Dedicated to Performing Artists and the spells they cast
We opened our doors on June 21, 2000, and created an ecosystem designed for and devoted to performing artists. From early development to opening night, we welcome the season’s biggest musicals and plays, as well as numerous nonprofit performing arts companies. At once dynamic and communal, New 42 Studios is designed for performing artists to explore, experiment and develop their craft.

Give it your all, all while giving back.
The Studios are just one way in which New 42 supports artists in the development of new work. By rehearsing with us, you help support a cultural nonprofit driven by a deep commitment to performing arts accessibility. While you work tirelessly to create magic on stage, we work tirelessly to introduce as many young people to the transformative experience of live performing arts.
